The killer whale is a toothed whale that can weigh up to 6 tons (5-5 tonnes) and reach lengths of 25 to 32 feet (7-5 to 9.8 M) long. The males are larger than the females, with their dorsal fin as tall as 6 feet (1.8 M) in height. 

Orcas have very strong social bonds. Each pod has its own unique group social structure and dialect. 

Killer whales have an extensive diet, eating other whale and dolphin species, sea lions, seals, squid, birds, salmon, cod and herring.
